Eddie Esparza

Eddie Esparza is an accomplished drummer/percussionist who has performed for over 1 million people across the West coast and overseas.  His musical influences and playing styles were born in east Los Angeles and moved to the Pacific NW where his eclectic hippie mother introduced him to everything from bluegrass to reggae, mariachi to Mozart, Punk to blues and anything & everything as he has fond memories traveling from one festival to the next.

Esparza first began playing drums at age 5, but didn't start taking it seriously until 8th grade when he got his first drum set and quickly advanced when he was invited to perform for the jazz, pep, and concert bands all 4 years of High School.  The next step was Clark college where Esparza continued performing for the jazz, concert and pep bands, but it wasn't until Esparza left college that he started expanding his musical horizons.

He has played with many different local acts such as CHANNEL ONE, LOUD SISTAH, independent artist (and touring guitarist for Sade) RYAN WATERS, COYOTE, TRIPLESWIFT, solo artist JACQUIN LOPEZ, and is currently performing with solo artist EDNA VASQUEZ, NO PASSENGERS, and LINCOLN'S BEARD.  He also performs and directs the ONE OF A KIND DRUMLINE.

Esparza enjoys the American roots sound Lincoln's Beard brings to the studio and the stage as it allows him to represent his musical diversity he proudly shares as he plays from his heart and soul.
